A town’s front porch, online.

How I built an independent community platform for Woodruff, SC.

I wanted one place a small town could trust. News is credited and linked back to The Woodruff Times, every listing shows its source, and each business gets its own page with hours, a map and structured data.

Residents can suggest a missing business, but a person reviews every suggestion and no one can pay for placement. Thirteen history chapters are told from the public record, using only images the project has the right to show.

I tuned it for speed and built it multi-tenant underneath, so the next town is configuration, not a rebuild.
