02 How a project runs
SEE. SHAPE.
SHIP. GROW.
Four phases, no surprises. You can walk away after any one of them with something useful in hand, even the roadmap, if you’d rather build it yourself. One flat rate: $300/hr.
01 The four phases, in detail
What you actually get, at each step.
Understand the real picture
Before anything gets built, I map what you have, what’s broken, and what’s worth fixing. No contract, no commitment. You walk away with a clear picture, even if you never hire me.
- Written summary of current tools, gaps, and quick wins
- 3–5 prioritized recommendations in plain English
- Clear proposal with scope, timeline, and price
- Option to walk away with the roadmap and do it yourself
First conversation is always free. Formal discovery sessions start at $350.
Design before you buy
You see what you’re getting before I build it. Mockups, architecture plan, and a final quote, all delivered before a single line of production code is written. No surprises.
- Visual mockups or wireframes of the solution
- Technical architecture plan: what will be built and how
- Final fixed-price quote, not an estimate, a number
- Clear go/no-go decision point: zero pressure to proceed
SHAPE deliverables are often included in full project quotes. Standalone design/planning sessions billed separately.
Built, tested, handed over
I build it, test it, and hand you the keys. Documentation, login credentials, hosting setup, everything configured and explained. You own it all from day one.
- Live, fully functional site or system on your hosting
- Complete credential handoff: hosting, domain, admin accounts
- Written documentation so you or any developer can work on it
- Training for your team on anything they’ll manage day-to-day
$300/hr flat rate. Full quote paid before build begins. You own everything from day one.
Expand when you’re ready
No retainer, no monthly obligation. When you need updates, expansions, or new features, you reach out and we scope it. Most clients check in a few times a year. Some go longer. That’s the goal.
- On-demand improvements: reach out when you need something, not before
- Expansion modules: booking, payments, portals, automation, dashboards
- Priority turnaround for existing clients
- No monthly fee unless you choose an explicit support agreement
Pay per project or per hour. No retainer required. Support contracts available for clients who prefer predictable monthly billing.
02 What I build
Systems for the people who run things.
Custom websites & business systems
Custom-coded sites, dashboards, portals, scheduling, invoicing, inventory: whatever your operation actually needs. Simple sites start at $3,000; complex builds run to $12,000.

For staffing & recruiting
Candidate portals, CRMs, and ops dashboards that replace the spreadsheet sprawl.
For local services
Booking, invoicing, and local-SEO sites for contractors, shops, and service crews.
For churches & nonprofits
Giving, member systems, and media, built by someone who understands ministry.
Clarity Session
A 60-minute systems audit and roadmap. Know what to build, buy, or skip before you spend $5K.
03 The deal
One rate for everything. Quick fixes included, no surprise tiers. Full builds run $3,000–$12,000, quoted as a fixed number and paid before the build begins.
3–7 pages, custom-coded, mobile-first.
8–12 pages, CMS, forms, the works.
Custom functionality, databases, dashboards.
Not ready to invest yet?
That’s fine. I published the full playbook I follow for every build: audit, plan, code, launch, maintain. Use it yourself, free, no email required.
